Six production and social facilities at once will be put into operation on one day, once again proving that everything impossible for ULK is possible! To be a leader - Vladimir Fedorovich, the ULK group of companies does not cease to amaze: on March 10 you open six new objects at once.

On the scale of the district and even the region, this is a very important event. How did you come to this? In the X years, we prepared and processed a small volume of wood. After at the beginning of the X, sawmill production burned down, they decided to concentrate on the sawmill. Gradually increasing the volume of the workpiece, they decided that it was more correct to process it by ourselves, and built a powerful modern timber processing complex.

With an increase in the volume of the workpiece and processing, the number of balance wood, which we had to be realized at prices below the cost, increased. This situation made us seriously think about processing balances - this is how the idea was born on the site next to the current factory to build a plant for the processing of thin -dimensional wood with the capacity of thousands of KBM of the manner in the entrance per year.

This is the first of the six objects that we present on March 10. The second object important for us is pellet production, which allows us, on the one hand, to organize the production of new products, on the other hand, to solve the issue of processing waste waste. On German equipment, premium fuel pellets will be produced. The production capacity of the plant is thousands of tons per year.

The third object is a sawmill that will allow us to efficiently and effectively engage in forestry. The power of the seed -breeding complex is 9 million pine seedlings and ate a year. With the introduction of these capacities, we will finally switch to complete non -waste production: logging, deep processing of wood, disposal of sawmill waste and high -quality logging.

The remaining objects are social. This is the registry of the district hospital in the village of Oktyabrsky, the Ice Palace in the village. Bereznik and the House of Culture in the village why do we love startups? When they begin the business, they may not have a large number of customers - but there is creative energy. This topic is now hotly discussed in the business community.

Please comment on. For enterprises of the industry as part of one legal entity, this will be the highest rate in Russia. And what is the "Varangians" in our region is well known. Often, strangers need only a raw material base, “pumping” which no one thinks about social obligations to the territory. The decision was made by the ethical side of the issue. In the Arkhangelsk region, one of the best forest holdings in Russia work, the region has been formed for decades with a landmark on the export of forests.

It may sound loudly, but a sense of patriotism and responsibility for the future of the region worked. I do not make a decision to buy two famous enterprises, the further course of events in the forest industry of the Arkhangelsk region could be different. We will seriously affect the forest products market for the entire north-west. With the advent of new enterprises in our holding structure, as I said, the amount of logging will increase significantly - up to 6 million cubic meters per year.

The volume of processing in the coming years will grow to 4.3 million cubic meters. In this volume, 1.8 million cubic meters are a balance wood that could become raw materials, for example, the Central Bank. For many timber industry enterprises, the issue of providing raw materials in the next few years can arise very acutely. As for the Solombalsky plant, a large -scale investment project for the construction of a logging complex with a capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters per year will continue on its site - this will be the “twin” of the Ustyansk plant.On the territory we will leave only a few buildings, we dismantle the rest, we will put the territory in order, we will concrete or lay out the slabs.

Here we will also produce thousands. A new factory in Solombal will appear in the year, and I am sure that it will become the pride of the city of Arkhangelsk! This project has already been recognized at the federal level a priority in the field of forest development. For its successful implementation, we received the necessary forest fund. Now we are engaged in a small adjustment of the project.

In particular, we are talking about the inclusion of the construction of the railway line in the Leshukonsky district of the Arkhangelsk region. I note that this is a truly unique project for Russia, since it seems unrealistic for Russia to lay a railway line directly in the forest. But we will do this - we will build a railway line, terminal, thermal power plant, all the necessary infrastructure.

There is a clear economic justification for all this. Having built a railway, we will at least save on buying timber trucks, save ourselves from the need to search for additional drivers for forest export, and most importantly, we will not depend on weather conditions. But in the year you became the owner of the enterprise in the Novgorod region. What role will this asset play in the holding?

Although I knew him well for a long time, since at one time we delivered a sawtropol to this plant. In April, I was offered to purchase this asset on very favorable terms. He arrived, looked everything in place - I liked it, the plant is good. For four months, our team managed to “raise” the enterprise experiencing great difficulties, to breathe life into production.

Of course, I had to work hard. We have serious plans for the Pestovsky forestry complex - as the plant is now called. Over time, we plan to increase the processing at the enterprise from the current to thousands of cubic meters per year, as well as build a pellet factory by 30 thousand here. They should be interesting to us primarily from an economic point of view, their purchase should correspond to the development strategy of the entire holding.

Now they have purchased enterprises in the Arkhangelsk region. There is interest in some companies in the Arkhangelsk, Vologda and Leningrad regions, Karelia. But I would not say that we will definitely buy one or another plant, I would not, this is a very painstaking and time -consuming process in which at least two sides are always involved, and each should be fully satisfied with the conditions of one or another transaction.

We are not going to dwell on what has been achieved and in the Ustyansky district. We plan to build in Oktyabrsky a modern plywood plant with annual processing capacity of thousands. A working group has already been created that visits Russian and foreign enterprises, choosing the best technologies for future production. Economic sanctions do not interfere with doing business?

Now we are percent of an export -oriented company. The market is not easy, but due to the quality and stable deliveries, ULK products are in demand among foreign partners. Our products are sold in 20 countries. But still, the main market is Asia, primarily China. For effective work in the Middle Kingdom, a special enterprise Rustimber was created, and the approach policy directly to the client fully justifies itself.

Sales in the Chinese direction have grown noticeably lately. His Majesty is a case - from scratch you created one of the most successful forestry enterprises. Moreover, they went from the forest plot to the chair of the head of the large holding. Have you planned that they would become one of the largest timber producers in the country? He began truly modestly: in the X decided to try the strength in business and created the Kolos cooperative to provide services to the population-we provided people with firewood and lumber.

I very well remembered the number of cubic meters that I personally prepared in the year. Then a small sawmill appeared, which sawed about a thousand “cubes” a year. Of course, I did not have any serious business strategy. I planned that we will prepare wood, saw, build houses. But the case intervened. At that time, the ruined Ustyansk forest room was sold.

We bought it and were forced to increase the volume of the workpiece. In order to ensure the sawing, I had to build a new sawmill. Then the Khvemsky state farm went bankrupt, which also had an estimated forest section. Bushed him off. As a result, the volumes of the workpiece increased to 60 thousand KBM per year, processing - 30-40 thousand “cubes”. Frankly, I thought that this is quite enough for me.

But in November, a fire occurred due to welding work, and the sawmill burned. Then he took, as I understand now, the only right decision - not to restore the workshop, but to seriously engage in logging.
