Nikolai Ignatovich managed to stop the collapse in the agricultural sector and create a strong foundation for a new life. Every day, every hour gave himself without a trace of serving the native land.
Kondratenko turned to the people, to the Orthodox faith. He said: "Only in this way can we find ourselves and our generic roots." He stood at the origins of the Renaissance of the Cossacks, was the initiator of the creation of voluntary Cossack squads ... Nikolai Kondratenko was born on February 16 in a peasant family in the village of Plastunovskaya Dinsky district of the Krasnodar Territory.
He did not remember his father - Ignat Efimovich died in the year at the front during the Great Patriotic War. Mom Natalya Egorovna was left alone with two young children. At his native Stanichnaya school, Kolya studied well, easily studying all the subjects, teachers praised him and put his classmates as an example.
In his spare time, Tanya helped his mother’s household. Having successfully graduated from school in the year, Kolya began his career on the Red Star collective farm. For three years he worked as a trailer until the call of the Soviet Army in the year. After graduation, Nikolai returned to his native village. In the year he entered the Felom -Issue Faculty of the Kuban Agricultural Institute now Kuban State Agrarian University.
He was not only a capable student, but also an active participant in amateur performances. And he met the love of all his life in the walls of this educational institution. As Lyudmila Pavlovna later recalled, "it was simply impossible not to fall in love with Nikolai Ignatovich - tall, pretty, the soul of the company, moreover, an excellent student of study." In the year, Nikolai Kondratenko graduated from the institute and received the degree of candidate of agricultural sciences.
The career of a young specialist developed rapidly - in three years he went from the agronomist to the deputy chairman of the Krasnaya Star collective farm. Since the year, Nikolai Ignatovich was in party work, graduated from the Rostov Higher Party School. In the year he was appointed General Director of the North Caucasus Association of the Sugar Industry. He made a great contribution to the development of this strategically important industry.
In subsequent years, Nikolai Ignatovich worked at various industrial enterprises, at the same time engaged in farming. He lectured at the Kuban State Agrarian University. In April, Nikolai Ignatovich was elected People's Deputy of the Russian Federation. In December of the same year, with the support of communist, national-patriotic and Cossack organizations, he was elected deputy of the Federation Council for Agrarian Policy and was part of the deputy association “Constructive Cooperation”.
At the beginning of the year, N. Kondratenko, together with the deputy of the State Duma S. Glotov, was one of the organizers of the Kuban movement “Fatherland”, which included communist and national-patriotic parties and movements operating in the territory of the region. In the years, the Fatherland received the majority of places in the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory.
Whoever he worked, Nikolai Ignatovich, the chairman of the regional council, the governor, the State Duma deputy and the representative of the Kuban in the Federation Council - was nothing more important than the interests of the region, his fellow countrymen. He made the request of a simple rural worker on a par with the primary interests of the region. And therefore, for people, it has always been a real, honest, native "dad Kondrata." The popularly chosen leader then got an unenviable inheritance - torn collective farms, abandoned farms, rusting equipment.
Nikolai Ignatovich set himself the goal - to revive agriculture. He had a natural gift - to instill in the surrounding faith in success, even when the situation was completely hopeless. Good eyes, open smile and ... explosive temperament. Legends went about his hot morals, and the phrases became winged. He showed concern for people not only with a word, but also by deed.
And people answered him with respect and love. From January to January, Kondratenko was the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, in his position he was a member of the Council of the Federation of the Russian Federation, where he was a member of the Committee on Budget, Tax Policy, Financial, Currency and Customs Regulation, Banking. He did not like publicity, but the situation obliged.
In the year of the Krasnodar Territory, sensational news flew around, not coming from the newspaper strips and television screens - Kondratenko unexpectedly announced the refusal to run for a second term. There was no doubt that the elections of Governor Kondratenko would be triumphantly re -elected. Rallies were held throughout the region, the participants of which asked Nikolai Ignatovich to nominate his candidacy again, the newspapers published appeals of public organizations and citizens to the governor with the same request.
Despite the requests of fellow countrymen, he was adamant - it is not in his character to change the decision.He turned to the people with only one request - to support his successor to the State Duma deputy Alexander Tkachev. Kondratenko's recommendations were enough for Tkachev to win the elections. From January to December, Nikolai Ignatovich is a representative in the Council of the Federation of the Russian Federation from the administration of the Krasnodar Territory, a member of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Revolutionary Policy.
Kondratenko consistently and fundamentally defended the interests of the Kuban in parliament, carefully watched how Kuban industry and agriculture were developing. He was sincerely glad of high indicators. Nikolai Ignatovich actively developed the business and friendly communications of Russia with many states. From January 30, until the last days of his life, he was again a member of the Federation Council, where he represented the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory.
Nikolai Ignatovich never spared himself, did not pay attention to fatigue and pain. And when a serious illness struck this strong man, only his family and the closest associates knew about this. He continued to fight. He constantly met with people, traveled along the edge and did not get tired of calling for fellow countrymen to rally, spiritual unity. Nikolai Ignatovich came to Krymsk to personally evaluate the work of the municipal headquarters, meet with the victims and see what pace the city is restored after the flood in July.
He often said: "It is not enough for me to be happy myself." Nikolai Ignatovich did not miss a single significant festive event, regularly met with students. And he liked to spend all his free time with his family. He had a “golden rule” - spend the weekend in Plastunovskaya. He personally looked after pears, plums. And the neighbors still recall the “Kondratenkovsky” vineyard, which was considered the best in the village ...
For great contribution to the socio-economic development of the region and the long-term conscientious work of Nikolai Ignatovich Kondratenko, he was awarded the orders: “Sign of honor”, Labor Red Banner, “For merits to the Fatherland of the IV degree”, medals: “Hero of labor of the Kuban”, “For labor labor” Valor ". For strengthening Russian statehood, contribution to the revival of the Cossacks, fruitful work to strengthen the food security of the people awarded the Order of Andrei the First -Called.
Nikolai Ignatovich passed away on November 23. Yankovsky, where N. Kondratenko lived, a memorial plaque was installed. His name was named after a street in Krasnodar Korotaya.
