And this book, of course, does not completely pipe it, but opens these doors.

I will not write much in this review, because the book, of course, is one way or another autobiographical, although it is written by a person observing from the outside. It is for the better!

But I have long been looking for in books about music groups for a long time, I finally found in this. The fact is that if you do not talk about some authors who simply wrote their vision to a group or a conscientious life, of course, they are not tied in all things that occur inside and in the heads. But when the musicians themselves write books for anyone, it is no secret that rock musicians, frankly, are the gangbloves.

Yes, probably, not only “rock-” people who managed to grab the bird of good luck in life, not without work and talent, of course. And when you read their books, sometimes this meadow begins to get bored, and everyone can write about themselves. In general - you understand the logic. This author visited the musicians at all stages of their life up to a year. He interviewed, went to festivals, sometimes participated on records in the studio, etc.

That's why it is interesting to read this text. You will not argue that he will be foreseen. After the group lost Cliff Burton, a journalist, such a feeling, already begins to be more an illustrator, a historian than just a narrator. Well, you know, when you sit with a person in the kitchen and he tells you stories from life, and you do not notice how quickly it flew an hour.

The same thing here: it is up to a year that you really absorb the book without straining. Then it begins to be difficult not to relax from her. And the point is not that it becomes uninteresting interesting, very! As already said: it is felt that the author has dramatically changed the attitude to history or writing. In general: a book for those who want to read the history of the group.

Even if you are familiar with her, I am sure that you will adopt something new. It is read very easily, as I already said, I read it excitedly, I probably spent the clock on the whole book, reading this story as a whole for those who want to understand the inner cuisine, the characters of the musicians, how their brains worked in different periods of life, which extended inside them, etc.
