Sүgir biography
Some performing features of the work of Sugur, in the context of the Karatau performing school, are shown. One way of knowing the nature of the tradition of Sheretpe is the identification of regional schools. The dombur music of the central, including southern Kazakhstan, Karatau region has its own characteristics. The peculiarity of the house art of this region, as well as the unexplored of the work of Sugur Aliuly as the founder of the Karatau Domrovo school, determine the relevance of the chosen topic.
Due to the complexity of the object of the study, we limit ourselves to the lighting of only some, in our opinion, the most interesting aspects. On the basis of the above, the authors consider some features of the musical style of Sugur Aliuly-a talented cuish in Kazakhs-the creator and performer in one person who lived at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. The cuy of this musician was preserved and became popular thanks to the activities of his students and followers.
In the analysis of housing music, the authors are based on comparative-typological and comparative historical methods, which make it possible to identify similarities and differences both in the performing versions of individual cuyes of Sugura and in the preserved works created by followers. In accordance with the system-ethnophonic method, Igor Matsievsky, suggesting a synchronous study of the personality of a folk musician, as well as instrumentation and instrumental music.
The style of the puree was formed at the junction of various instrumental traditions - Dombrova Sherst, Tokpe, and Mattle Music. His compositions are the most vivid embodiment of the Karatau local house style.
