Writer, translator, critic. Mikhail Mikhailovich Kireev was born on November 2 in the village of the first of the emphasis of the Mtsensky district of the Oryol region in the family of a peasant. His first notes and correspondence in the newspapers “Pravda of Youth”, and then in “Oryol Pravda” he signed “Impressor”. M. Kireev came to the editorial office of the youth newspaper after the end of the Oryol Sadovo-Hortic College, was the editorial secretary.

Possessing outstanding organizational abilities, he rallied around the newspaper young rabcores and rurals, produced literary pages, created the literary group "Yar", which worked very actively. In the year, they released the first literary collection "Yar" with dedication to Maxim Gorky. Kireev became part of his reign, and in January, he became his chairman.

His story “Think, neighbor! In the spring of the year, Kireev moved to Voronezh. Kireev was a member of the first All -Union Congress of Writers. In the years, M. Kireev worked as an editor in the book publishing of Kurskaya Pravda, the head of literary advice in the newspaper Tambov Pravda. At the end of the thirties, the writer moved to Nalchik. Since the year, he headed the cultural department in the newspaper Socialist Kabardino-Balkaria.

In Nalchik, where Kireev lived for more than thirty years, new collections of his works came out, including the stories of the Oryol period “Stories” and stories from the life of the highlanders “Native Heart”, “Love”, “The Song of Love” Kireev worked as a literary consultant in the Union of Writers of the Kabardino-Balkarian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, wrote the essays and critical articles, edited the Almanac “Kabarda”, performed, “ On the radio.

For fruitful activities in the field of literature, M. Kireev was awarded six letters of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the KB Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, including for the creation of the film “Kabarda” and for the collection, processing and publication of the oral folk art of the Kabardian people “Narts” by a special talent, 16 books of the works of these writers in the artistic translations of Kireev were noted.

By the sixtieth anniversary of M. Kireev in Nalchik, a collection of his chosen translations “Circle of Friendship” with an article by Kaisyn Kuliev “About Friend” was published. All these years, he continued to write his favorite things - small short stories, stories, literary portraits, worked on “memories”, as he was increasingly returning with his thoughts to his native lands.

Reading them, you meet familiar places: the writer draws paintings that he was able to see in the Oryol Oryol region. He came to his native lands, was constantly interested in the life of fellow countrymen. Many Oryol prose writers maintained close ties with him. Mtten schoolchildren, teachers wrote to him. Mikhail Mikhailovich Kireev died on October 10 in the city of Nalchik.
