How much I am not at meetings with children, how many school textbooks, the names of the authors are the same, and these are writers of the last century. I do not observe new names. Surely they are, but they cannot break through, it is difficult to judge. Anyway, units write poetry for children, because for this you need to go down to one level with the child, speak with him in the language that he understands, and this is very difficult.

This is not an oligarch, neither a banker, nor an artist or singer. Some even consider poets strange people, eccentrics. In the best case, they will be asked to compose something for a birthday, a wedding. Another problem is that today there are more writers than readers. Yes, and it’s easy to publish a book, only find money and you are a classic! Another fad in the resume, hobby, no more.

And where is it valued? Poetic evenings are very rare, in book publishing their priorities, so what significance can we talk about? And with us?
